Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, outlined Tehran’s core positions ahead of the resumption of talks with the United States in Geneva. He stated that Iran is under no circumstances seeking to develop nuclear weapons, but emphasized that Iranians will never relinquish their right to benefit from peaceful nuclear technology.

He stressed that reaching a new agreement is fully achievable and noted that such a deal could even surpass the 2015 agreement (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action).
