ISWNews Analysis Group: Kamchybek Tashiev, the head of the Kyrgyz National Security Organization, and Saimumin Yatimov, the head of the National Security Organization of Tajikistan, signed the peace and ceasefire agreement between the two countries.

ISWNews Analysis Group: Despite the establishment of a ceasefire between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, heavy conflict continues on the border areas of Batken and Sughd provinces.

ISWNews Analysis Group: As a result of border clashes between the Kyrgyz and Tajik armies, two Tajik servicemen were killed and more than 14 servicemen from the both sides were wounded.
