Latest updates on Afghanistan and Pakistan, 17 June 2020

1. Kapisa
Due to Taliban attack in Tagab district, 18 stations of security forces fell and conflicts continue in Hakim Akhund Zada.

2. Jozjan
Due to Taliban attacks to areas Bala Hesar and Jabbar Shahid in Aqche district, 12 army and six police and people’s immobilization forces killed and ten injured. Six were captured by Taliban.

3. Qunduz
Due to Taliban attack to Taluke area eight security forces killed.

4. Pakistan
– Pakistan security forces arrested four of Jama’at al-Ahrar group in an operation in Pishawar town, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa state. They intended to launch a terrorist operation.
– Indian foreign ministry reported of two Indian diplomats arrested in Islam Abad. Pakistan released them.
– Pakistan administration decried in an statement the Indian defense minister regarding the free zone of Jamu and Kashmir. Pakistan administration requested halt of the operation and clashing with civilians and removing the limits on Kashmir, in the statement.
