Iran’s Leader: Occupied land should return to Azerbaijan; terrorists should not get close to Iran
Leader of Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khamenei in his speech for the birthday of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) and Imam Jafar Sadegh (as) talked about conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia and different aspects of it including terrorists in this war.
Supreme Leader of Iran called it a bitter incident that two northern neighbors of Iran are fighting and stressed on ceasing it immediately.
He added:
“The lands of Azerbaijan captured by Armenian forces should return to Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan has the right to claim them. But Armenian who live here should have security.”
He then mentioned about the international borders and terrorists presence in Azerbaijan soil:
“International borders should be respected and neither sides should assault the borders. Terrorists should not get close near Iran border as well. Although some deny presence of terrorists but there are trustworthy reports that terrorists were transported to this incident from other places. If terrorists get close to Iran border and we feel their danger, they will be decisively answered.”
