Tehrik-E Taliban Pakistan Commanders Assassinated In Afghanistan
Unidentified armed individuals have assassinated two field commanders of the Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) named Mullah Chamtu Waziristani and Rasool Khan Gujjar, also known as Maulvi Zubair, in separate operations in the southeastern provinces of Khost and Nangarhar in Afghanistan.
It should be noted that the reason for the killing of Rasool Khan Gujjar, also known as Mawlawi Zabir, along with three other Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan militants by unidentified armed individuals, is said to be their collaboration with the terrorist group dubbed Islamic State–Khorasan Province in the district of Bati Kot in Nangarhar province.
Therefore, it is possible that this Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan commander and his aides were killed by intelligence operatives of the Taliban caretaker government in Afghanistan, in line with the Taliban’s agreement with the objectives of the Pakistani government.
