On the fourth day of the clashes, hundreds of Taliban militants from Afghanistan and other Takfiri groups crossed the border points of Dandpatan district in Paktia province and attacked the Shia village of Pewar in west of Parachinar town.

Recent attacks by Takfiri groups on Shia areas in the Pakistani town of Parachinar, the center of the Kurram Agency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, six people were killed and dozens more were wounded.
