The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) engaged in an ambush against a convoy affiliated with the Jaish al-Adl terrorist group in the Saravan border region of southeastern Iran.
A number of militants of a terrorist group attacked the watchtower of the border guard forces in the Bam Posht district of the city of Sirkan in Saravan County of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeastern Iran, at 7 p.m. on Sunday (November 10).
This evening, January 16, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targeted the positions of the Jaish ul-Adl terrorist group and separatist elements in the border areas of Iran’s Saravan district and Pakistan’s Panjgur district with several missiles and suicide drones.
ISWNews Analysis Group: On December 19, a number of armed terrorists tried to cross the border of Pakistan and enter the Iranian territory by using the mountain areas, but they faced the resistance of the Iranian border guards, and after the conflict, they were forced to leave the area and fled into the Pakistani territory.
In recent days, the Shamsar border in Saravan district has witnessed clashes between Pakistani and Iranian local fuel bearers on the one hand, and Iranian and Pakistani security forces on the other hand. A number of people lost their lives and a number of others were injured in these clashes.
