Ceasefire Violation in Nagorno-Karabakh

ISWNews Analysis Group: Just one hour after the ceasefire was announced at 00:00 on Sunday, October 18th, the parties in Nagorno-Karabakh accused each other of violating the ceasefire.
Armenian military officials said that Azerbaijan fired mortar shells on the northern fronts between 00:04 and 02:45, and fired several rockets between 02:20 and 02:45 on the southern fronts. Armenia also announced that Azerbaijani forces launched a military operation on the southern fronts at 07:20 to gain a favorable position in the Khoda Afarin Dam area.
On the other hand, Azerbaijani officials stated that on October 18th, Armenian forces targeted the Tuvoz and Gadabay areas in the north of the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
