Since the beginning of the conflict, Palestinian resistance groups fired more than 4100 rockets of various types into the occupied territories, of which about 1800 rockets have successfully passed the Israeli air defense systems and hit targets.
Israeli warplanes have also carried out more than 2000 airstrikes on various parts of Gaza Strip.
The number of rocket attacks in the 8-day war in Gaza in 2012 was close to 1,000 rockets, which has quadrupled in the recent 11-day war.
