ISWNews Analysis Group: Heavy conflict between Ansar Allah and the Saudi-led forces in western part of Shabwa province.
1- Shabwa:
– Clashes between Ansar Allah and the Saudi-led forces continued in south of Noqub and Jundala heights.
– Due to Ansar Allah missile attack on gathering of Saudi coalition forces in Nasir al-Qahih al-Harithi house, governor of Usaylan district in Wadi Belharith region, eight killed and several wounded.
2- Marib:
– Clashes between Ansar Allah and the Saudi-led forces continued in the al-Balaq al-Sharqi and al-Balaq al-Awsat heights.
– General Farhan al-Naqib, commander of Mansoor Hadi’s 2nd brigade of special forces was killed in conflict with Ansar Allah in al-Balaq mountain.
3- Saudi coalition air strikes in the last 48 hours:
The Saudi coalition warplanes bombed AnsarAllah-controlled areas 153 times in the past 48 hours.
4- Al-Hudaydah:
The Saudi coalition violated ceasefire 273 times in the last 48 hours.
5- Saudi coalition confiscated two ships of 9487 tons of liquid gas and 24 thousand tons of fuel oil in the Red sea. According to Yemen’s national oil company, Saudi coalition has confiscated six ships carrying different kinds of fuels headed toward Yemen. All of them have UN permission.
6- Saudi coalition claims to shoot down an AnsarAllah drone over south of Saudi Arabia in the early hours of January 6.
