According to local sources in Helmand province, US drones bombed Taliban weapons depots at the Shorabak military base northwest of Lashkar Gah on March 30. The sources also claimed that 30 Taliban members were killed and wounded in the attack. Camp Shorabak camp is located in the northwest of Lashkar Gah city. This base used to be the headquarters of NATO and US forces and is one of the largest military bases in Afghanistan and even in the region.
