Khader Adnan Mohammad Musa Martyred In Israeli Custody; Resistance: This Heinous Crime Will Not Go Unanswered!
ISWNews Analysis Group – Khader Adnan Mohammad Musa, a 44-year-old Palestinian prisoner and one of the leaders of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, was martyred after an 86-day hunger strike in Israeli jails.
On April 23 Palestinian media outlets reported, Adnan went on a hunger strike in protest against his arbitrary detention by the occupiers and was in poor physical condition; so, the Zionist occupiers were time and again warned about the severity of his physical condition.
Last week, Adnan was transferred to a hospital because of his deteriorating health condition, but the Israeli regime did not allow any of his lawyers, doctors, or legal representatives to contact the hunger striker and got informed about his health condition.
The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine announced following Adnan’s martyrdom that their struggle will continue with full force and determination, and the criminal Israeli enemies will once again realize that their crimes will not go unanswered. The resistance will keep pace with full strength, determination and steadfastness.
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas spokesman, Hazem Qassem, also declared that this crime was a cold-blooded execution carried out by the Israeli regime’s prison organization against the martyr Khader Adnan.
Hours after the news stories came out of the Palestinian prisoner’s martyrdom, three rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip towards the Israeli settlements. In this regard, a spokesman for the Israeli army announced the sounding of the siren in the Israeli settlements around the Gaza Strip and confirmed reports that said some rockets were fired towards these settlements.
Hebrew-language media outlets also reported the cancellation of an Israeli military maneuver that was scheduled to be held near the Gaza Strip this morning, citing fears of a Palestinian resistance reaction to Khader Adnan’s martyrdom, and also announced that the Israeli army was preparing itself for the possibility of the escalation of tensions in the Gaza Strip.
