One Iranian Border Guard Martyred In Border Clash With Taliban
ISWNews Analysis Group – During a border conflict between Iran and the Taliban in Sistan and Baluchistan province on May 27, one Iranian border guard was martyred and two others were wounded.
According to a Twitter statement by the Taliban interior ministry spokesman, Abdul Nafee Takkur, during the clashes between the Taliban militants and the Iranian Border Guards in the north of Sistan and Baluchistan Province, an Iranian border guard and a Taliban militant was killed, and a number of other forces were wounded.

Iran’s Border Guard Command of Sistan and Baluchistan province also released the image of Mohammad Mehdi Ahmadi, the Iranian soldier that was martyred in recent clashes, and declared the casualties of the Iranian Border Guard in the Taliban attack as one martyr and several wounded.
