During the last three days, Ukrainian forces made significant advances west of the town of Klishchiivka and took control of several hills and farmlands in the area, forcing the Russian army to retreat to Klishchiivka.
Clashes are currently taking place in the western outskirts of Klishchiivka, and the Ukrainian army is advancing on this axis. Ukrainians are using the forest areas around Klishchiivka as a cover to carry out the attacks. In addition, Ukrainian forces are pushing from the northwest direction of Bakhmut and have increased their efforts to push back the Russians.
If Klishchiivka falls under the control of Ukrainians, the Russian army in Bakhmut city will face a serious problem from the southern axis.
