Syrian Army Shoots Down Militants’ Drones in Latakia, Aleppo

The militants intended to attack targets in Latakia and Aleppo governorates using three drones but thanks to the Syrian military’s vigilance, these attacks were thwarted and the combat drones were shot down.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that terrorist groups keep on their aggressions against civilians and army centers in the outskirts of Aleppo, Latakia, and Idlib governorates, and the latest strike was drone attacks on several areas.

The statement further mentioned that Syrian armed forces were able to shoot down two drones belonging to terrorist groups in the northern outskirts of Latakia Governorate and another drone in the western outskirts of Aleppo Governorate.

In response to these attacks, Syrian armed forces targeted headquarters of some terrorist groups in the mentioned areas with the use of precise artillery attacks, resulting in the killing and injuring of several militants including Abu Marwan Ezzo and the destruction of a vehicle carrying terrorists in the western outskirts of Aleppo Governorate.
