Syrian Al-Qahtaniyah Oil Field Set Ablaze In Turkiye’s Attacks
The aerial attacks by the Turkish army on northern Syrian areas have caused a fire in the Saeeda and Al-Awda oil fields in vicinity of Al-Qahtaniyah oil field in the east of Qamishli city, located in the Hasakah Governorate.
The Turkish army had not carried out such attacks for several weeks. It appears that Turkiye has initiated a new wave of attacks against the Syrian Democratic Forces in northeastern Syria.
These attacks are taking place while the political and military authorities of the northeastern Kurdish region of Syria have repeatedly called for the cessation of Turkish attacks and have sought assistance from the United States to help stop these strikes.
However, the United States has never made any practical and effective efforts to stop the air strikes. In fact, it can be said that the US neither has the power to stop these operations nor does political and military relations with Turkiye allow Washington to do so. However, the authorities of the northeastern Kurdish region of Syria continue to stand against understanding the reality of the United States.
