The Armed Forces of Yemen took responsibility for the missile attack on the US ship GIBRALTAR EAGLE in the Gulf of Aden by publishing a statement.

The statement is as follows:

“The naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting an American ship (GIBRALTAR EAGLE) in the Gulf of Aden, with a number of appropriate naval missiles, and the hit was accurate and direct. All American and British ships and warships involved in the aggression against our country are considered hostile targets by the Yemeni armed forces.
The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm that a retaliation to the American and British attacks is unavoidable, and that no future attack will go unpunished.
The Yemeni armed forces continue to carry out their military operations and implement the decision to block Israeli navigation in the Arab and Red Seas until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.
The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm the continuation of trade movement in the Arab and Red Seas to all destinations except for the ports of occupied Palestine and that they continue to take all defensive and offensive measures within the right to defend and confront the American-British aggression”

The missile operation of the Yemeni armed forces was carried out today against the American bulk carrier “Gibraltar Eagle” 95 miles southeast of Aden. Previously, Ansar Allah carried out most of its attacks in the Red Sea, and this caused the naval fleets of the American coalition to be deployed in the Red Sea to repel and neutralize these attacks. The addition of the Gulf of Aden to the scope of the Yemeni army’s targets will have heavy costs for the US military and may even force the US coalition to send more warships to Yemeni waters.
