The Armed Forces of Yemen targeted an Israeli-linked ZOGRAFIA ship in the Red Sea, which was bound for the ports of occupied Palestine.

According to Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, “the Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of God Almighty, attacked and directly hit the bulk carrier “ZOGRAFIA” which was bound for the ports of occupied Palestine with a number of anti-ship missiles.”

According to the Yemeni Armed Forces, this operation was carried out after the ship’s crew rejected warning calls, including fire warning messages.

ZOGRAFIA is a bulk carrier and has been operating under the flag of Malta since 2010. This ship was heading to the Suez Canal from Saigon Port in Vietnam.

This afternoon, United Kingdom Marine Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported the occurrence of an incident 100 nautical miles northwest of al-Salif port in western Yemen. The UKMTO also announced this morning that an incident occurred 57 nautical miles northwest of the port city of Assab in Eritrea (in the south of the Red Sea), but no other details of this incident have been published so far.
