Five Syrian Soldiers Martyred In Deir Ez-Zor
As a result of a roadside bomb explosion along the route of a Syrian army vehicle on the western outskirts of Deir ez-Zor Governorate, five Syrian soldiers were martyred.
Unidentified armed individuals (likely ISIS terrorists) detonated a roadside bomb on the route of a Syrian army vehicle carrying forces at the entrance of the village of al-Shola, located in the Deir ez-Zor Governorate of Syria, on March 4. During this terrorist act, five Syrian soldiers were martyred, and another person was injured.
This incident occurred simultaneously with the Syrian army’s operations against hidden cells of the terrorist group ISIS in the western desert of Deir ez-Zor Governorate.
Although some sources claim that forces affiliated with Iran were killed in this attack, local sources have stated that all the martyrs and injured individuals were all from the Syrian servicemen.
