Top Palestinian Police Commander Martyred In Israeli Raid At Al-Shifa Hospital
During a raid by the military forces of the Israeli regime at Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip, the senior commander of police operations Faiq Abdul Raouf Al-Mabhouh was martyred.
On March 18, the military forces of the Israeli regime carried out coordinated attacks, including aerial, artillery, and ground attacks on Al-Shifa Hospital and its surrounding areas. During this operation, Faiq Abdul Raouf Al-Mabhouh, the Director of Central Operations of the Palestinian Police in Gaza and commander of the security of trucks carrying humanitarian aid, was martyred.
In this regard, the Israeli regime’s army announced that after receiving information about the presence of one of the senior Hamas commanders in Al-Shifa Hospital, Israeli army forces and the Shin Bet security agency initiated an operation, which led to the death of Al-Mabhouh, the head of the internal security operations department of Hamas.
It is worth to mention that the martyr Al-Mabhouh was a popular figure among all forces, tribes, and factions, and in recent days, he had initiated a suitable process for distributing food and essentials among refugees inside the Gaza Strip.
The targeted attacks on Al-Shifa Hospital and the assassination of Al-Mabhouh indicate that the goal of the occupying Israeli regime is to disrupt the security of trucks carrying aid and intensify the security turmoil in the Gaza Strip.
