US-UK coalition fighter jets attacked the Yemeni capital Sanaa in a pre-dawn operation on Saturday, March 23.

The US-UK coalition fighter jet attacks on the capital of Yemen include the following cases:

  • Four air strikes on the Attan area in Al Wahda district.
  • Two air strikes on the al-Nahdain area in As Sabʿain district.
  • Three air strikes on the Jarban area in Sanhan district.

The US-UK coalition fighter jets had also carried out two air strikes on the Sardoud farm in the Al Kadn area in the Al-Zahra district on Friday (March 22).

The terrorist army of the United States Central Command in West Asia (CENTCOM) issued a statement, announcing that between 4:22 and 23:10 on March 22 (Sanaa time), US forces successfully destroyed four suicide drones. Additionally, the Ansar Allah movement fired four anti-ship ballistic missiles towards the Red Sea, but these attacks did not cause any casualties or damage to US, coalition, or commercial ships.

CENTCOM also claimed that American forces destroyed three underground Ansar Allah warehouses in Yemen during their so-called defensive attacks. The mentioned attacks in the US statement likely refer to the air strikes carried out in Sanaa last night.

The US army claims that Ansar Allah’s attacks have disrupted international shipping, but the Yemeni Salvation Government recently emphasized in a statement that over 4,500 ships have crossed the Red Sea in the past three months!

Therefore, the US claim is proved to be incorrect, and the air strikes against Yemen are merely a series of actions in support of Israeli shipping. Although Ansar Allah’s missile and drone attacks do not divert ships back towards Israeli ports, they have significantly reduced ship movements towards occupied Palestine and caused notable damage to the Israeli regime’s ports and companies.
