Staff Member Of US Agency For International Development Killed In Occupied Palestine
Jessica Jennings, a spokesperson for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), announced the killing of a staff member of the organization in the occupied city of Jaffa on April 12.
The spokesperson stated: We are collaborating with the United States Embassy in Israel to obtain further details about this fatal incident.
The name of the deceased individual has not been disclosed, but it is said that this individual had been a member of USAID for over two decades and were on a mission on the southwestern coast and Gaza.
Given this person’s long-term background, and USAID’s inappropriate track record in various fields, as well as its activities such as espionage, nation-building, and so on, it is likely that this was not a usual killing, but rather an operation aimed at the physical elimination of this individual by elements associated with the enemies of the Israeli regime, especially the Palestinian resistance.
It is worth mentioning that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) was established in 1961 by integrating other American institutions involved in international development, and is currently active in over 100 countries worldwide, including Jordan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan (prior to the Taliban’s takeover), and Iraq. The agency seeks to transform war-torn countries, particularly conflict zones in Western Asia, into spheres for increasing the United States’ influence, under the guise of humanitarian actions.
