US Army Provides Israel With Full-Fledged Support; How Many Iranian Missiles And Drones Did The US Army Shoot Down?
The US army claimed that during the recent operations by Iran, as well as the recent attacks by the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen against the Israeli regime, it had destroyed 80 suicide drones and seven ballistic missiles.
Western media outlets detailed the participation of the US army in countering Iranian missiles and drones. According to a senior US defense official, during Iran’s recent attack on the Israeli regime, no American fighter jets stationed in the Iraqi and Syrian territories or the Red Sea were engaged with Iranian missiles and drones. However, the USS Carney destroyer was involved in the Eastern Mediterranean and shot down an Iranian ballistic missile. The USS Arleigh Burke destroyer also shot down three ballistic missiles before they could enter the airspace of occupied Palestine.
The US terrorist army’s Central Command (CENTCOM) also released a statement a few hours ago regarding the details of countering Iran and Yemen’s attacks, claiming that during the clashes on April 13 and 14, CENTCOM forces, with the support of European destroyers, shot down and destroyed over 80 suicide drones and at least six ballistic missiles. According to CENTCOM’s statement, out of this number, one ballistic missile and seven drones were fired from areas under the control of the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen.
Despite the various statistics published by the Israeli regime’s media outlets and the US army, the armed forces of Iran have not provided any details of this attack. Some Western media claim that the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) used approximately 150 ballistic missiles, 150 cruise missiles, and 100 suicide drones during the Saturday night attack. Some Iranian media outlets have speculated that during the Operation True Promise, Iran used dozens of Shahed-136 suicide drones, Emad ballistic missiles, and Paveh cruise missiles. There have also been claims about the launch of Fattah hypersonic missiles, which is not accurate.
Based on the published visual evidence, Iran used medium-range ballistic missiles dating back to the 2000s with cluster warheads in this attack, and more advanced weaponry such as the Fattah hypersonic missile was not used in this operation. The figure of 400 missiles and drones for Iran’s recent operation against the Israeli regime is a large and unreliable number in technical and analytical terms. Perhaps the use of cluster warheads is the reason for the mention of these statistics. Cluster warheads are the best solution for engaging the Israeli regime’s air defense and attacking the military equipment of the Zionists in military bases.
