Yemen Armed Forces Respond to Crimes Committed By US-UK Coalition / Missile Attack On USS Eisenhower Aircraft Carrier

The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces also announced in the statement on Saturday noon that the missile and naval forces of the Yemeni army, in response to the air strikes of the US-UK coalition on various parts of Yemen, targeted the Eisenhower aircraft carrier, which has been the source of attacks against Yemen with missile strikes. At the beginning of this statement, Major General Saree said:

The American-British enemies have attacked the capital and governorates of Sana’a, Al Hudaydah and Taizz in the past few hours.

– Four attacks on Sana’a, which resulted in one person being injured.
– Two attacks on Sana’a Governorate.
– One attack on the Hayfan area in Taizz Governorate.
– Six air strikes on Al Hudaydah Governorate, as follows:
1- Attack on the Al-Salif port.
2- Attack on the radio building.
3- Two attacks on the Qalifeqa military base.
4- Two attacks on the homes of two Yemeni politicians Ali Mohsen Saleh al-Ahmar and Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, pointing to the results of the US and UK attacks on Yemen, said: The attacks on Al Hudaydah resulted in the martyrdom of 16 people and 41 injured. The total military and civilian casualties with other attacks, including on civilian sites such as the Al Hudaydah radio building in front of Al-Thawra Hospital and the coast guard headquarters in the Al-Salif port, reached 58 martyrs and injured. These attacks caused damage to the Al Hudaydah radio building as well as the coast guard building in the Al-Salif port, and also damaged some commercial ships in the port. These attacks show the targeting of civilian sites, which are a blatant violation of all international laws and considered as a full-blown war crime.

Therefore… In response to these crimes and within the framework of responding to the attacks of the United States and Britain, and in continuation of assisting the oppressed people of Palestine, the missile and naval forces of the Yemeni army carried out a joint operation. The military operation aimed at the American aircraft carrier Eisenhower in the Red Sea with a number of cruise and ballistic missiles, and by the grace of God, and that the attack was carried out with accurate and direct impact.

Major General Saree added at the end that the Yemeni armed forces will not hesitate to give a direct and immediate response to any new aggression against Yemeni soil, with the aim of targeting all sources of threat and all hostile American and British targets in the Red and Arabian Seas. The Yemeni armed forces stress that the American-British crimes will not prevent them from fulfilling their religious, moral and humanitarian duty towards the people of Palestine, and our operations will continue until the end of the aggression and the lifting of the siege on the oppressed people of Palestine in the Gaza Strip.

It is worth noting that in the final hours of last night and early this morning, the warplanes of the US-UK coalition carried out extensive air operations in the governorates of Sana’a, Al Hudaydah and Taizz in order to prevent the Yemeni army from attacking Israeli ships and vessels affiliated to the regime and its allies. These attacks resulted in the destruction of a number of government and civilian buildings in Yemen, as well as the martyrdom of 16 people and the injury of 42 others.
