The Israeli military carried out airstrikes on targets in Syria’s northern Aleppo, reaching the area by violating the airspace of neighboring countries.

According to the findings, fighter jets of the Israeli regime’s army were able to penetrate deep into Syrian airspace by traversing through Jordanian airspace and exploiting the airspace over the occupied Al-Tanf region. From there, they launched attacks on locations in the northern part of Aleppo city.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense has not released any official figures on the casualties resulting from this Israeli air raid. However, local sources have claimed that the attack led to the deaths of at least 17 people, with an additional 15 individuals sustaining injuries. Also an Iranian military advisor was martyred in the attack.

The Israeli regime typically does not acknowledge its airstrikes in Syria. The latest attack that occurred around 12:20 a.m. on Sunday resulted in a number of fatalities and some material damage.

This latest incident marks a significant escalation of Israeli military operations within Syrian territory, demonstrating the ability of the Israeli Air Force to infiltrate deep into Syrian airspace and bypass the country’s air defense systems.

The attack, which reportedly struck civilian areas, has drawn widespread condemnation from Syrian authorities and their allies. They have accused the Israeli regime of blatantly violating Syrian sovereignty and targeting innocent lives in the process.

This is a flagrant violation of our country’s sovereignty, and we will not stand idly by as the Israeli regime continues to carry out such reckless and deadly attacks, said a statement from the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This is not the first recent instance of Israeli airstrikes in Syria. On May 29, the Israeli regime launched air attacks on Syria’s central region and the coastal city of Baniyas, killing a child and injuring ten civilians, as reported by Syrian state media.

An even more significant incident happened on April 1st, when an Israeli airstrike flattened a building in the Iranian diplomatic compound in Damascus.

The international community has also expressed concern over the latest developments, with calls for restraint and respect for international law. However, the situation in northern Syria remains highly volatile, with the potential for further escalation and bloodshed as a result of Israeli provocations.

As the region grapples with the aftermath of this Israeli air raid, the search for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict in Syria remains a pressing challenge for the global community.
