Yemeni Armed Forces Pound Lobivia Ship In Gulf Of Aden

Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree attended the weekly march of the Yemeni people in Sanaa city’s Al-Sabaeen Square and read out a statement about the attack on a ship in the Gulf of Aden.

Brigadier General Saree stated: The navy, missile and drone forces of the Yemeni armed forces, with the help of God Almighty, carried out a special and joint military operation in the Gulf of Aden, attacking the ship Lobivia with a number of ballistic missiles and drones, and by the grace of God, the attack was precise and direct.

The Yemeni army’s spokesman went on to say that the ship was targeted for violating Yemen’s decision to ban entry to the ports of occupied Palestine.

Brigadier General Saree added that the continuation of the Israeli regime’s aggression in the massacre of our brothers in Gaza will only lead the people of Yemen as well as the armed forces and their faithful and combatant leadership to more military operations in support of the oppressed people of Palestine.

In the end, the Yemeni Armed Forces once again called on all Arab and Islamic countries to fulfill their religious, humanitarian, and moral duties towards the Palestinian people and actively participate in this decisive and inevitable battle.

The Lobivia is a container ship that has been operating under the Singapore flag since 2001.

The Yemeni army’s attack on the Lobivia ship is the 147^th attack by the Yemeni Armed Forces on illegal ships (the Israeli regime, the United States, the United Kingdom, and their affiliated ships).

It should be noted that the Yemeni people held their weekly march in support of the Palestinian people and resistance in the cities of Sana’a, Saada, Al Hudaydah, Dhamar, Amran, etc. under the title of standing by Gaza, despite the pressure of every factor.

In the final statement of the march, the Yemeni people, while congratulating the leader and the Yemeni Armed Forces for the historic achievement in the successful attack on Tel Aviv, considered this success as a gift from God Almighty and assured the Palestinian people and resistance that they will spare no effort in supporting them.

The Yemeni people also praised the fighters of the Islamic resistance groups on the battlefronts of Lebanon and Iraq, and emphasized the continuation of joint operations with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq against the Israeli regime.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out attacks on numerous vessels affiliated with Israel or owned by the US and the UK in response to the Israeli genocidal war and siege on Gaza since November 2023.
