Yemen Army Strongly Warns Companies, Ships Linked To Israel
Spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Saree issued a statement, warning companies associated with the Israeli regime to refrain from any cooperation with the occupying regime regarding the transfer of ownership of their ships and companies.
The Yemeni brigadier general stated: Our information confirms that many shipping companies affiliated with the Israeli enemy are attempting to sell their assets and transfer their properties from shipping and maritime transport companies to other companies or register them under different parties’ names.
The Yemeni Armed Forces will not recognize any change in ownership or flag of the Israeli enemy’s ships and warns all parties linked to these companies or vessels that they will be subject to penalties and a ban on passage through the area declared in previous statements by the Yemeni army.
The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to impose a maritime blockade on the Israeli enemy, targeting all ships belonging to the regime, linked to the enemy, or heading towards occupied ports until the end of the Lebanon war and the lifting of the blockade on the Gaza Strip.
The Yemeni army’s warning against cooperation with the Israeli companies comes as the activity of the ports in occupied Palestine has significantly decreased following extensive naval operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, and their exchanges through the port of Eilat have been halted. This maritime blockade has so far caused millions of dollars in damage to the Tel Aviv regime and harmed dozens of ships affiliated with the occupiers.
The Yemeni army kicked off military operations on October 19, 2023 to support the people and resistance of Palestine and stand against the Israeli regime’s brutal activities in occupied Palestinian territory. The Yemeni Armed Forces have conducted numerous operations in the maritime route from the Gulf of Aden to the Red Sea. These operations peaked with the seizure of the Israeli ship Galaxy Leader and relentless missile, drone, and aerial attacks on more than 160 ships linked to the Israeli regime, leading to the halt of sailing by Israeli companies from the Red Sea shipping line.
