Israeli Navy Raids Sumud Humanitarian Flotilla, Dozens Detained
In a large-scale operation, the Israeli regime’s navy intercepted around 40 out of 47 vessels from the international Sumud Flotilla en route to Gaza, detaining dozens of activists and transferring them to Ashdod port.
Despite the blockade, one vessel—Mikono-Albireh—has reportedly entered Gaza’s territorial waters, according to Al Jazeera’s Hassan Masoud.
The raid has sparked widespread international condemnation, with countries including Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Colombia, Malaysia, Venezuela, Spain, Australia, the UK, and Brazil denouncing the move as a clear violation of international law.
