Latest News From Moscow Summit and Engagements of Daykundi, Ghor, Maydan Wardak and Kabul

1. Second round of Afghan politicians and Taliban representatives summit in Moscow.
Second round of Afghan politicians and Taliban representatives summit was held on Tuesday in Moscow. The summary is as follows:
Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister: Diplomacy is the only solution for Afghanistan.
Molla Abdul Ghani, brother of Political Office Head of Taliban: To reach peace, occupation should end in Afghanistan.
Hamid Karzai, former President of Afghanistan: We endorse Russia’s role in peace negotiations.
Atta Muhammad Nour, former Governor of Balkh: We demand good relations with Taliban.
Karim Khalili, Head of Afghanistan High Peace Council: Submission spirit is not acceptable from either side.
Mohammad Hanif Atmar, former Counselor of National Security Council and Afghanistan Presidency Candidate: I hope this is debut of serious negotiations between Afghanistan different groups, Russia, USA, China and other countries of the region.
 
2. Ghor:
– 5 security forces and 16 civilians martyred and 15 civilians injured due to Taliban’s attack to 2 villages in Firuzkouh. According to local officials, most of Ghor province inhabitants are armed for self defense and helped security forces.
– Taliban’s attack to people’s immobilization stations in Shab Shodagi and Qatus areas, center of Ghor province.
– Fall of security station of Manar Jam to Taliban.
 
3. Daykundi:
Nomads supporting Taliban attacked security forces controlling Nayak Chaharsad Khana region of Miramour.
 
4. Maydan Wardak:
Executing 9 and arresting 2 security forces by Taliban. It is said the 9 martyrs are from Hazarah and 2 missed are Pashtoon.
 
5. Kabul:
ISIS took responsibility of terrorist explosion of Marshal Fahim military school. Due to the explosion 6 cadets were martyred, according to Afghan Ministry of State.
