Latest Updates on Libya, 3 December 2019

1. Tripoli:
– LNA and GNA engagement in Swani-Aziziyah axis and at three points Sa’ediyah, Tuwaishah and Kobari Zahra. LNA claimed that captured Sa’ediyah in this axis. However, the GNA media claimed to occupy Kobari Zahra and normal traffic in the road.

– LNA heavy airstrike to residential areas in Swani and Um al-Aranib. In these attacks an unknown number of civilians specially children killed. Some sources said 14 children were killed.

– LNA airstrike to Ayn Zarah axis. GNA bombed Qasr ibn Ghashir in response to LNA strikes. One of GNA commanders said there will be an operation soon against Haftar’s forces (LNA) in this axis.

2. Sirte:
LNA drone attack the GNA forces in Sirte.

3. Binghazi:
LNA sources reported of Gen Haftar and Amazigh tribes representatives meeting in Binghazi.
