Iraq: Assassination of a senior Iraqi intelligence officer

ISWNews Analysis Group: Nebras Abu Ali, assistant director of the Iraqi Intelligence Service’s Monitoring Department, was assassinated by unidentified gunmen in Baghdad.
Unidentified gunmen assassinated him in his car while crossing the al-Baladiyat area east of Baghdad.
The details and cause of his assassination are unknown; But in this regard, there are two narrations: 1- He was involved in the assassination operation of Haj Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Mohandes., 2- He was killed because of internal tensions.
