Hezbollah Destroyed An Israeli Vehicle In Northern Palestine
Lebanese Hezbollah targeted and destroyed an M113 personnel carrier belonging to the Israeli regime in response to Israel air attacks on the southern regions of Lebanon.
The Israeli army announced on October 18 that 15 rockets were fired from Lebanon, four of which were destroyed by the Israel air defense systems and 10 landed in uninhabited areas. In response to this attack, the IDF targeted two observation towers belonging to the Hezbollah in the southern borders of Lebanon.
Minutes after the Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon, Hezbollah announced by publishing a statement that in response to these attacks, a Zelda (M113) personnel carrier of the Israeli army near the Sadsh base located in the west Salha settlement has been targeted by two guided missiles.
The Zelda (M113) is a caterpillar tread armored personnel carrier that was donated to Israel by the United States in 1972 during the Yom Kippur War. This armored personnel carrier has little resistance to all types of munitions, but has excellent maneuverability in difficult terrain and is compatible with air transport. Zelda personnel carrier is amphibious and has been modified to withstand hazardous materials and protect against anti-tank missilesf, roadside bombs, and sniper fire.
