1. Baghdad:
– On June 22, Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani inaugurated the new Center for the Air Defense Command Headquarters during an official ceremony.
– On June 26, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and US Ambassador to Baghdad Alina Romanowski discussed the ongoing talks between the Iraqi-US supreme military committees on the end of the international coalition’s mission as well as ways to finalize these negotiations to reach an agreement on a timetable for troop withdrawal.
