Latest Updates on Afghanistan, 19 July 2019

1. Logar:
At least 5 civilians were killed in an airstrike by government forces near Pule Alam, Logar province.
 
2. Baghlan:
Due to Taliban forces attack to Jilga district, Baghlan province, at least 20 civilians were captured by Taliban. Engagements still going.
 
3. Badakhshan:
According to Taliban’s assertion, 37 troops led by government were captured in Taliban’s attack in the Kuran Wa Manjan district, Badakhshan province.
 
4. Jozjan:
Molla Allah Morad famous as Molawi Allah Dad Sakhawi was killed in engagement between Taliban and security forces in Qirqin town. (image).
It is said, he was one of notorious members of Taliban and several school in Qirqin town were supervised by him.
 
5. Qandhar:
Due to terrorist attack to Qandhar’s police command 8 civilians and 2 policemen were killed and 89 injured.
 
6. Kabul:
Due to explosion of a magnetic bomb in front of Kabul University, 1 policeman and 7 civilians were killed and 34 injured.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman condemned Kabul’s terrorist attack and sent condolences to Afghanistan government and people.
