Latest Military Situation in Northern Homs 21 May 2018; North Homs is Now Completely Liberated!
Islamic World News Analysis Group: Eventually, after the Syrian army entered in all the villages of northern Homs and the Syrian flag was raised in these villages, the region was completely liberated from the militants.
The General Command of the Syrian Armed Forces on 16 May, 2018 announced the full liberation of the northern Homs and southern Hama areas including 1200 square kilometers and 65 villages from militants.
However, we didn’t publish the North Homs map because the Syrian army did not entered to all the villages of northern Homs on that time and there were many people who didn’t want to stay in the region.
Over the past five days, the Syrian army has just entered the villages, in the left side of the pocket and the Syrian flag was raised in these villages among the warm welcome of the residents.
Also, with the arrival of new buses to the area, many people who did not want to stay in the area were evacuated to northern Syria.
Eventually from yesterday and today, the Syrian army entered to al-Zarah and al-Sama`lil villages and with compromise of the last militants in the area, the northern Homs were completely cleared from the threats and presence of the armed groups.
