Osbat al-Tha’ireen, mysterious revenge unit

Regarding the new group Osbat al-Tha’ireen, in despite of few information released, we can mention some points:
1. It is an asymmetric warfare group in Iraq which was established after military response to revenge assassination of martyred commanders of resistance and specially Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis was delayed.
It is unlikely that Osbat al-Tha’ireen is an independent group and most probably resistance in Iraq know about it. They put their flag beside Iraq’s which shows they do not want to be recognized as Hashad Sha’abi.

2. It can be concluded from their videos they don’t have a long term plan and only want to start psychological warfare and make Americans feel unsafe in bases specially Ain al Assad and green zone of Baghdad, in which US embassy is located. The videos are simple without professional editing just to show their stances.

3. They have a good logistics and intelligence to monitor Americans activities, without advanced technology and elite security forces, it would be impossible.

4. It is unlikely that the groups starts attrition warfare or confront directly since it surfaces their identities. If they want to act militarily, they would launch guerilla warfare, drone attacks, taking hostages, assassination or martyrdom seeking attacks.

Note that Osbat al-Tha’ireen took responsibility of the attack to American base al-Taji last month.
