Latest Updates on Kashmir, 16 June 2020

1. An Indian media claimed since January 2019 so far 124 Kashmiri people joined militias to fight against India. It means Kashmiris tendency to fight with Indian soldiers has decreased.

2. Kashmiri militia and Indian soldiers conflict on Tarkavangam village, northeast of Shopian. Three Hizbul Mujahideen militants killed so far.
According to Indian media, in the last month conflicts 17 Kashmiri militants killed.

3. Following Kashmiri militants coming to Sopur town, north of Kashmir, Indian soldiers started search operation in the town and erected watch posts.

4. India accused Pakistan of ceasefire violation in Tangdar area, north of Kashmir.

5. Due to Indian and Kashmir forces conflict in Ponch border area, one Indian soldier killed and two injured.
