ISWNews Analysis Group: Late on February 28, Israeli regime warplanes fired several missiles at Syria’s Damascus.
At 22:16 local time, Israeli warplanes fired several missiles at targets in the city of Damascus from over the occupied Golan. According to Syrian military sources, the Syrian air defense intercepted and destroyed most of the missiles.
Israeli media and officials have described tonight’s attacks on Damascus as a response to the explosion of the MV HELIOS RAY ship in the Sea of Oman. The Israelis claim that the MV HELIOS RAY ship was targeted by Iran in the Sea of Oman on February 26.
