Syria: IED attack on Turkish vehicle

ISWNews Analysis Group: On October 5, a Turkish Army vehicle was targeted by a roadside bomb in the southern city of Idlib.

The Ansar Abi Bakr al-Siddiq group claimed responsibility for the attack by issuing a statement and images from the moment a Turkish army vehicle was targeted on the Ariha-Nahlaya road.

It is worth mentioning that two military posts of the Turkish army are located in the cities of Ariha and Nahlaya. (Online map)

The Ansar Abi Bakr al-Siddiq group has been active in Idlib province since the summer of 2020 and has carried out at least dozens of operations against Turkish troops in the Idlib region.
