Latest Updates on Syria, 29 November 2021 (Map Update)

1- Aleppo:
– On November 28, artillery of Turkish-backed forces shelled positions of Kurdish militant in the town of Tal Rifat.
– On November 28, artillery of Turkish-backed forces shelled village of Ain Daqnah in the Shahba area, north of Aleppo.
– On November 28 , the “Nur al-Din al-Zanaki” and the “Faylaq al-Sham” militants clashed due to a dispute over the looting of agricultural products in the city of Afrin.

2- Idlib:
– On November 29, the Syrian army artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in the village of Qarqur, south of Idlib.
– On November 29, the Syrian army artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in the villages of Kansafra, al-Ruwayha and Safuhan.
– On November 28, the Ankara-backed militants used an anti-tank guided missile to target a gathering place of Syrian Army forces on the outskirts of Hantunin in Idlib province.
– On November 28, the Syrian army artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in the village of al-Fatira, south of Idlib.

3- Homs:
– On November 28, the US-backed Maghawir al-Thawra conducted a joint military exercise with the US forces in the al-Tanf area.
– On November 29, two members of the Syrian army were seriously injured by an explosive trap in the city of Tadmor.

4- Deir Ezzor:
On November 29, the headquarters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the city of al-Busayrah was attacked by unknown individuals. The attack was followed by heavy fighting between SDF forces and the attackers.

5- Hasakah:
– On November 28, a Turkish-backed gunman named “Abul Hassan” was assassinated by unknown individuals on the outskirts of Ras al-Ain.
– On November 28, two Iraqi asylum seekers were assassinated by unknown individuals in al-Hawl camp.
– On November 28, two Turkish army spy drones were spotted flying over the Qamishli.
– On November 28, a Syrian citizen named “Rezwan Eid Nu’man Al-Ahmad” was killed by the Turkish army while trying to cross the Syrian border on the outskirts of Hasakah.

6- At least 25 ISIS terrorists were killed and wounded, and three of their hideouts were destroyed in a raid by Russian fighter jets on ISIS hideouts in the Homs, Deir Ezzor and Raqqa deserts over the past two days.

7- On November 29, the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria announced: The militants violated the ceasefire eight times in the Idlib region, of which 4 are in Aleppo province and 4 are in Idlib province.
