Turkish soldier killed in clashes with PKK

ISWNews Analysis Group: The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that a gendarmerie soldier was killed in a clash with PKK militants in the east of the country.
As part of Operation Eren-6 in the eastern province of Tunceli, Turkish troops stormed a gathering of PKK militants on the outskirts of Ovacik, killing three PKK militants. A Turkish gendarmerie soldier was also killed in the clashes.
