Delivery of three F-35 fighter jets to Israel
ISWNews Analysis Group: The American company Lockheed Martin has delivered three more F-35 fighter jets to the Israeli army.
According to Israeli sources, these fighters will first go to Europe and after a short stop and refueling will go to occupied Palestine.
Including these three aircraft, the Israeli Air Force now has 33 F-35 fighter jets.
Given the history of F-35 fighter jets stationed at Israeli air bases, it is likely that these three fighters will also be stationed at Nevatim Airbase, located southeast of Be’er Sheva.
Israel and Lockheed Martin of the United States signed an agreement in 2016 to purchase 50 F-35 fighter jets and deliver them within five years. The first fighter of this type entered the Nevatim airbase in December 2016.
