ISWNews Analysis Group – An airstrike by unknown UAVs on the outskirts of the Syrian border city of Al Bukamal damaged at least four trucks.

The unknown UAVs (perhaps belonging to the US-led coalition) fired a warning shot and then targeted a convoy of six trucks in the suburbs of the border city by firing at least two missiles, severely damaging at least four trucks at 22:15 local time on Sunday. According to initial data, the airstrike had not any casualty.

There have not been released more information of the attack so far, and the Syrian officials have not commented on the report.

According to the information achieved by the ISWNews Analysis Group’s source on the ground, the United States’ UAVs were identified by the resistance forces when the drones were flying over the border areas of Iraq and Syria on Saturday evening.

Moreover, given the fact that the Iraqi resistance group “Tashkil al-Warithin” carried out a drone strike on the American al-Tanf base in Homs Governorate on January 20, as well as the ongoing clash between the resistance movement and the Western-Hebrew-Arab axis in the war Zone, it seems to be probable that the airstrike was conducted by the US or Israeli aircraft (with the US support) to retaliate the mentioned drone strike on al-Tanf garrison by the resistance movement.

It is noteworthy that on December 16, mysterious aircraft targeted a truck in vicinity of the border city of Al Bukmal in Deir ez-Zor Governorate of eastern Syria, and completely destroyed the truck.
