Palestinian Launches ‘Thar Al-Ahrar Operation’; Rocket Attacks And Fighting Continues (Video)

On May 10, the Palestinian resistance groups targeted Israeli settlements with rocket attacks in response to the Israeli army’s air and artillery attacks on the Gaza Strip. According to the announcement issued by the joint operation room of the Palestinian resistance groups, the new operation against the Zionists is called “Thar al-Ahrar”.

The Palestinian resistance groups fired more than 300 rockets towards the occupied territories including Tel Aviv, Jaffa, Ashdod, Ashkelon, etc., in several stages, some of which were intercepted and destroyed by the Israel’s Iron Dome systems. But some of them also hit the Zionist areas. According to the Hebrew media, at least 16 Zionists were injured in the occupied territories while fleeing to shelters for fear of resistance rockets.

Israel TV Channel 12 announced: Due to the tension and ongoing conflicts in Gaza, the exams of students who live 40 kilometers away from the Gaza Strip will be held inside the shelters or will be postponed.

According to the air traffic monitoring of Ben Gurion Airport, the process of accepting passenger planes at this airport has been disrupted due to rocket attacks by the Palestinian resistance. Also, an Israel’s Hebrew-language website reported that the Iron Dome systems engaged with Palestinian resistance rockets near Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport.

Following the clashes, the Israeli army announced in a statement: The fighter jets of this regime have bombed 53 targets in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

At the same time as resistance rocket attacks continued throughout the occupied territories, the fighter jets of the Israeli regime carried out attacks against areas of the Gaza Strip. After these attacks, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 21 Palestinians were martyred and 64 others were injured since the start of the Zionist regime’s criminal attacks on Gaza.
