Turkish Soldier Killed In Operation Claw-Lock

Turkiye’s Ministry of National Defense has announced the death of another soldier in the Operation Claw-Lock, which is underway in northern Iraq.
According to the Ministry of National Defense, the Turkish soldier was injured during a clash with PKK forces on September 11 in northern Iraq and succumbed to his injuries on October 5.
Consequently, the number of casualties among the Turkish army personnel in the Operation Claw-Eagle, which began on April 18, 2022, has increased to 88. The Operation Claw-Eagle was launched by orders of former Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar to demolish PKK militants in northern Iraq.
