End Of Joint Military Drills Of Turkiye, Azerbaijan
On October 26, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan has announced a joint military exercise between Azerbaijan and Turkiye came to an end successfully.
The joint exercise, named Mustafa Kemal Ataturk-2023, began on October 23, 2023 with the participation of military forces from Azerbaijan and Turkiye and ended on Wednesday.
According to a statement released by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the drills involved ground, air, missile, artillery, and Special Forces units from Azerbaijan, as well as some units from the Turkish army.
The drill took place in Baku, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and the territories liberated from Armenian occupation. Some 3,000 military personnel, 130 tanks and armored vehicles, 100 artillery pieces, 20 fighter jets and military helicopters contributed to the military exercises.
