Two More Cargo Ships Were Attacked In The Red Sea
The container ships MSC Alanya and MSC PALATIUM III, which were sailing towards the Israeli regime under the flag of Liberia, were targeted by Yemeni armed forces’ missile attacks.
According to the available information, one of these ships was attacked by a missile in the north of Mocha port and caught fire, and one of its containers fell into the sea.
Hours later, the Yemeni Armed Forces took responsibility for the attack on the ships by publishing a statement.
In this statement, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, said: “With the help of God, in two operations, we attacked two ships, MSC Alanya and MSC PALATIUM III, which were moving towards Israel, with two missiles. This operation took place after the crews of these ships refused to respond to the calls of the Yemeni Navy and also to the warning messages. We will not hesitate to target any offending vessel that we have mentioned in previous statements. Until the arrival of food and medicine to the Gaza Strip, we will prevent the entry of all ships bound for Israeli ports. Our operation continues until the victory of the oppressed people of Palestine and is in line with the implementation of the orders of our leader and answering the call of our people and Muslims.”
These two ships are the 9th and 10th Israeli ships, either affiliated with Israeli companies or destined for Israel, to be attacked by the Yemeni army. By continuing the attacks against the criminal ships, the Yemeni army clearly conveys this message to the world that the Yemeni people will continue their attacks until the end of the siege and the war in Gaza, and that the military threats of the United States and other western powers have no effect on reducing or stopping the attacks. The war in Gaza must stop and the siege of the people of Gaza must end.
