Israel Conducts Fresh Attack On Outskirts Of Damascus
In the past 24 hours, the Israeli regime warplanes pounded targets in the outskirts of the Syrian capital city Damascus two times.
According to military sources, around 01:50 local time on Saturday, the Israeli regime carried out an airstrike on certain points in the outskirts of Damascus from the occupied Golan Heights.
The Syrian army’s air defense system successfully destroyed some Israeli missiles. However, this air raid resulted in material damage.
It is said that a house in the al-Dimas town, located west of the capital city Damascus, was the target of the Israeli air strike. Further details have not been disclosed in this regard so far.
It is worth mentioning that this is the second Israeli attack on Syria in the past 24 hours. On Friday, three Israeli suicide drones entered Syrian airspace, with the Syrian air defense system intercepting two of them and the third drone hitting an area near Al- Mezzeh Military Airport in south-west of the old center of Damascus.
