Escalation Of Conflict Between Hezbollah, Israeli Army In Southern Lebanon, A War Is Coming?!

On Friday, the Israeli regime’s fighter jets and drones bombed an uninhabited building at the intersection of Harouf, Jebshit and Al- Doueir on the outskirts of the western city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon after carrying out eight airstrikes in the areas of Maroun al-Ras, Kfar Tebnit, Al- Khiam, Al-Naqoura, Ayta ash Shab, Markaba, and Yuhmor al-Shaqif. According to local sources, the latest bombardment did not result in any casualties.

In response to these attacks, Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah conducted seven attacks against Israeli positions on the occupied northern borders of Palestine, firing a large number of Katyusha rockets towards the Kila military base in the occupied Golan Heights, located 10 kilometers far from the Lebanese border. The Iron Dome defense system of the Israeli regime’s army intercepted most of these rockets, and details of their impact have not been disclosed.

With the recent escalation of Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon, Hezbollah has also increased its rocket attacks within a 10-kilometer range of the occupied northern borders of Palestine. The surge of Israeli airstrikes and the failure of US officials’ negotiations with the Lebanese government to force Hezbollah resistance movement to retreat from the southern Lebanese borders have increased the likelihood of escalation of war on the southern Lebanon-northern Palestine front.

Previously, Commander of the Israeli Air Force Aluf Tomer Bar had announced readiness of the Israeli forces to carry out a widespread attack on Lebanon, stating: Tens of Israeli aircraft are stationed in Lebanon’s airspace and the number of these aircraft can reach hundreds if necessary. We will attack hundreds of targets in the depth of Lebanon, including Tyre, Sidon, Beirut, and Baalbek.

Overall, the Israel regime is preparing for military action against Hezbollah, and these threats are in line with its objective to conduct an aggression in Lebanon.
