Advancement of the Israeli Regime’s Army North of the Litani River

As Israeli forces continue their advance north of the Litani River on the Nabatieh axis, the regime’s forces have succeeded in capturing Al-Shaqif Castle (Beaufort Castle), and the area of Yohmor has effectively fallen, while Arnun is in a similar situation. Clashes are still ongoing in Eastern Zotar and the Mazraat al-Hamra area.

Report No. 37 from the Southern Lebanon Front (Map)

Heavy clashes continue between Israeli forces and Hezbollah fighters on the southern and eastern fronts of the town of Zotar. Current information indicates that Israeli forces are positioned south and east of Zotar, and have come under attack by Hezbollah fighters near three points: Bustan Zatam, the Al-Kashfi Complex, the Cultural Complex, and Tallet al-Khazzan.

Lebanese Security Forces Launch Operation to Detain Assad-era Officials

Lebanese security forces have begun a large-scale operation to ensure that senior figures and officers of Syria’s former regime are not present on Lebanese soil, aiming to prevent the country from becoming a platform for threats against Syria’s security and stability. The case is being overseen directly by Tarek Mitri, Lebanon’s Deputy Prime Minister, who is responsible for managing Lebanon–Syria relations. Mitri seeks to reassure Damascus of Beirut’s respect for its neighbor’s sovereignty and stability through security and political measures.
